How to Make a Rosé Cooler
With the warm summer weather upon us, there’s nothing quite like a refreshing drink to cool down with by the pool. Well we've got the perfect wine-based cocktail for you! If you've never tried a Rosé Cooler then you're in for a treat, it's super simple to make with ingredients you probably already have in your liquor cabinet. All you need to add is a bottle of your favorite Rosé.
Rosé Cooler Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 oz vodka
- Squeeze of lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Ice
- 4 oz Rosé wine
- Lemon wedge for garnish
- Optional: strawberries or blackberries
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Glass:
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
-
Mix the Base:
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, squeeze of lemon juice, and simple syrup. If you like your drinks a bit sweeter, add a touch more simple syrup.
-
Shake it Up:
- Add some ice to the shaker and give it a good shake for about 10-15 seconds to make sure everything is well mixed and chilled.
-
Add the with Rosé:
- Strain the mixture into your glass with ice. Top it off with the Rosé wine, giving it a gentle stir to combine all the flavors.
-
Garnish and Enjoy:
- Garnish your Rosé Cooler with a lemon wedge on the rim of the glass. For an extra burst of flavor and color, add a few slices of strawberries or a handful of blackberries to the drink.
Tips for the Perfect Rosé Cooler:
- Quality Matters: Use a good quality Rosé wine. We recommend the Rose de Chevalier Bordeaux Rosé.
- Balance the Sweetness: Adjust the amount of simple syrup to suit your taste. If you prefer a less sweet drink, start with less and add more if needed.
- Fresh Ingredients: Ditch the grocery store pre-squeezed lemon juice. Fresh lemon juice and ripe berries can make a big difference in the overall flavor of your cocktail.
This Rosé Cooler is perfect summer time cocktail for poolside lounging, backyard BBQs, or just unwinding after a long day. It’s light, refreshing, and oh-so-easy to make.
