Our Napa Valley Wine Tasting Event

On Wednesday Sept. 20th, we hosted our first themed wine tasting at Chase's in La Verne, featuring Napa Valley. It was a record turnout, so thank you to all that attended and purchased! These events are a labor of love and enthusiasm, and we can't do it without your support. Plume Ridge's in-house Sommelier, Blake Leland, chose 7 stellar Napa Valley wines for the occasion. These wines are true to our mission, to bring boutique, family owned wines that are organic or sustainable to your table. Wines were paired with; meatballs in a huckleberry BBQ sauce, mushroom crostini, and a platter with an assortment of different types cheeses.
Incase you missed our event, sign up for our newsletter to get notified on future tastings. Our next event will be Wednesday, Nov 15th, follow us on Instagram for the themed announcement, with some exclusive VIP details for all those that have supported our events.

Le Petit Coquerel Napa Sauvignon Blanc kicked off the night. Sustainably produced, this Napa Sauvignon Blanc is grown in the afternoon shadows of the Mayacamas Mountains at the north end of Napa Valley in the Calistoga AVA. Pure, fresh and delicious.
Tate Spring Street Dillon Vineyard Napa Chardonnay was next up. Only 200 cases of this stellar Chardonnay were produced, brighter and fresher than previous years, there is a lifted abundance of white peach with honeysuckle floral elements. This is complimented by vanilla bean with a pretty soapstone minerality.
Post & Beam Napa Cabernet Sauvignon by Far Niente was a very popular wine at our tasting! It got a 95 point rating from the Tasting Panel and 94 points from Wine Enthusiast. It's no surprise it was such a hit.

Mira Yountville Napa Cabernet Sauvignon was another 94 point stunner. Sustainably farmed and using 100% Napa Valley fruit and 100% French Oak, the Mira cabernet was another very popular pour with our attendees.
Cakebread Cellars Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is always a popular choice. Rich, smooth and elegant, this classic Napa Valley Cabernet sold out!
Materra Oak Napa Midnight Red Blend has some serious winemaking pedigree behind it. Materra's winemaker Chelsea Barrett is the daughter of Heidi Barrett (from Screaming Eagle fame), and Bo Barrett (Chateau Montelena). That combined winemaking experience really shines in this amazing red blend.
Maldonado Family Vineyards Napa Red Blend was poured last, but it's definitely not the least! Grown in the northern most tip of Calistoga in Napa Valley, on the Maldonado estate property. This Cabernet Sauvignon dominate blend is super limited and pretty hard to find. It's a real Napa gem.

Congrats to our Cluster Club members, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis! They were our lucky raffle winners. They won a $50 gift card to Chase's and a double magnum bottle of Close des Lunes White Bordeaux valued at $150.
