Pierre-Vincent Girardin represents the 13th generation of winemakers in his family. He grew up immersed in the world of Burgundy winemaking under the guidance of his father, Vincent Girardin. Following his father’s retirement in 2011 (and the sale of the original domaine), Pierre inherited 4.5 hectares of prime vineyard holdings. In 2017, at just 19 or 21 years old, he launched his own domaine in Meursault, marking the dawn of a new chapter that balances tradition with a contemporary ethos.

This incredibly well placed Bourgogne Rouge shows it’s Vosne credentials with ethereal aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, and ripe sour cherries. A vein of minerality keeps the wine fresh and alive, while adding complexity to the wine’s sappy and textured frame.
