A blend of 88% Sauvignon Blanc and 12% Semillon, aging in French oak barriques, 8% new, the 2019 Pagodes de Cos Blanc slips seductively out of the glass with alluring white peach, honey-drizzled pears and lemon tart scents plus wafts of orange blossoms and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is coated with stone and citrus fruit flavors with soft acidity and a pleasant oiliness to the texture, finishing with a white pepper kick.

However, it is still crafted with the same attention to detail and quality winemaking techniques as the estate's top wine. The aim of Les Pagodes de Cos is to offer a more approachable and affordable option for wine drinkers to enjoy the style and essence of Château Cos d'Estournel at a younger age.
