La Raia is a Demeter-certified biodynamic estate in the heart of the Gavi hills of Piedmont, Italy, run by the Rossi Cairo family since 2003 with a deep commitment to ecological viticulture and preserving the original ecosystem of the land. The winery spans about 180 hectares, including around 40–65 hectares of vines planted to Cortese, Barbera and a touch of Pinot Noir, amid pastures and woodlands that support rich biodiversity.
