At the source of Duménil champagne and the birth of the House in 1874, there is the knowledge of champagne as of the vine, an unusual feature at the end of the 19th century. Grocers and cafetieres (Emile-Paul Duménil) as well as winegrowers, and their ancestors will be at the origin of this Champagne House which is now over 140 years.
The meeting of Frédérique and Hugues
Frédérique Poret is the great-granddaughter of the house that inspired the blend. Hugues her husband is the son of a family of winegrowers in Sacy Premier Cru for several generations. He knows how to reveal the ground in all its expressions.
About the 2013 Vintage
A signature cuvee with a majority of chardonnay from Montagne de Reims, 8 years on yeast to show the potential of aging. A rare good vintage with October harvest, long ripening and long aging. Dosage 7g.

Wine Notes
The fine and elegant effervescence is expressed through a golden robe color . On the nose you get expressive notes of quince and prunes. With flavor profiles of roasted hazelnuts, a velvety, vinous and a notable mineral finish with some good length.
