Château Lynch-Bages is one of the most celebrated estates in Pauillac, with a history dating back to the 18th century. Originally part of the Lynch family holdings, the château earned recognition as a Fifth Growth (Cinquième Cru Classé) in the historic 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Despite its classification, Lynch-Bages has long been regarded as a "super fifth," consistently performing at a level that rivals many higher-ranked estates.

The property was acquired by the Cazes family in 1939, whose stewardship transformed Lynch-Bages into one of Bordeaux's most respected names. Located on the gravelly plateau west of Pauillac, the estate is known for producing powerful yet refined Cabernet Sauvignon-driven wines that combine richness, structure, and remarkable longevity.

Today, under the leadership of the Cazes family, Château Lynch-Bages remains a benchmark of Pauillac, celebrated worldwide for its consistency, age-worthiness, and classic expression of Bordeaux's Left Bank terroir.
