This 92 points wine is owned and managed by Jacques and Sabrina Chardat. Jacques is an oenologist graduated from the University of Bordeaux and has developed Chateau Lacaussade into an established estate. Across the river from the Grand Cru Classe, Lacaussade benefits from the unique limestone terrior.
Located in the village of Saint-Martin-Lacaussade and bordering UNESCO heritage site, this property is planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grown on clay and limestone soil with oyster and sea urchin fossils. Currently certified sustainable and practicing organic techniques while going through conversion.

Wine Notes
Aged in French oak barrels, this wine is rich and full with black fruit, sweet spice, cinnamon and toasted oak. Silky tannins, elegant with spot on fruit flavors and a complex finish. Balanced indeed. 14.5% Alc.
