Ramey Rodgers Creek Syrah is a distinguished wine from Ramey Wine Cellars, crafted by renowned winemaker David Ramey. This vintage is sourced from the Rodgers Creek Vineyard, situated at an elevation of 800 feet on the cooler, western slopes of Sonoma Mountain within the Petaluma Gap AVA. The vineyard, planted in 2002 to Ramey's specifications, features rocky volcanic soils that contribute to the wine's distinctive character.
The 2018 vintage is a blend of 88% Syrah and 12% Viognier, co-fermented to enhance aromatic complexity.
