Bele Casel is a family-run winery in the Asolo Prosecco DOCG region of Veneto, Italy. Founded in the 1970s, the Ferraro family initially sold grapes before transitioning to winemaking in the 1990s. Bele Casel is known for its small-production, organic farming practices, and dedication to traditional methods, including extended lees aging and the col fondo style (unfiltered, naturally cloudy Prosecco).
Asolo Prosecco is a high-quality, lesser-known DOCG compared to Valdobbiadene, offering a more mineral-driven, complex expression of the Glera grape. Bele Casel has been instrumental in promoting this region’s unique terroir while maintaining a hands-on, artisanal approach to winemaking.
