The Manzone family has been crafting wine in Monforte d’Alba, nestled in Piedmont’s prestigious Langhe region, since 1925. “Le Ciliegie” (Italian for "the cherries"), this wine is made entirely from Dolcetto grapes, native to Piedmont and widely respected for producing fruity, approachable reds.
Production is intentionally limited to only a few thousand bottles released each vintage, available approximately 18 months after harvest.
Notes
Aromas of red berries, violets, blackberries; floral elegance, touches of plum and mint, followed by black cherry, blackberry, a touch of licorice, leather, green herbs, and vibrant Italian acidity. Rustic, fruity, juicy, and authentic.
