Chateau Vannieres Bandol 2019 94 WE  (Regular Retail $49.99) Sustainable

Bandol is one of the oldest vineyard in France. The first vine was planted by the Romans 2,500 years ago. Gaston Boisseaux, from Beaune in Burgundy aquired this property in 1957 and now, his son Eric, epicurean winemaker likes to play with concentration, finesse and elegance and these wines can aged for 30 years. Farming in the vineyard follows the purest tradition of the appellation.

Wine Notes

It is a wine with a deep garnet color, with aromas of black fruits, blackcurrant, blueberries, enhanced by fragrances of pepper and spices. This wine is earthy, complex with strong tannins. Suitable for consumption now or in a few years. 

Rosé de Chevalier Bordeaux 2022 (Regular Retail $15.99) Direct Import

Owned by the Bernard family since 1983, the magnificent Domaine de Chevalier is at the top of the list of the greatest Grand Cru Classés of Bordeaux. Like a secret garden, this emblematic wine of the Pessac-Léognan appellation is located in a green setting south of Bordeaux.

Wine Notes

Subtle, delicate and refined nose with rose aromas and small red fruits, such as raspberry. A pleasant touch of exoticism reminds lychee. Aged in oak for 18 months

Materra Oak Knoll District Napa Valley Red Blend 2019 92 WE (Regular Retail $29.99) Sustainable

Chelsea Barrett grew up in Calistoga and began working in vineyards and wineries from a young age. She attended UC Davis and graduated in 2010 with a degree in Viticulture and Enology. Chelsea is the daughter of Heidi Barrett (from Screaming Eagle fame), and Bo Barrett (Chateau Montelena).

Wine Notes
2019 Midnight has a deep purple hue and dominant notes of raspberry, red currant, and black tea, along with subtler notes of licorice and white pepper.

Chateau Dalem Fronsac 2019 94 JD (Regular Retail $24) Sustainable Direct Import

Chateau Dalem is managed by Brigitte Rullier, whose family have been owners since 1955. Brigitte has been working along side her father for several years before taking over the estate in 2002. Brigitte's expertise is recognized by the most renowned international critics.

Wine Notes

This rich, medium to full-bodied, mouth-filling effort has lots of ripe darker cherry and blackberry fruit as well as tobacco, cedar pencil, and violet nuances. Rich, textured, balanced, and with a real sense of purity and class, it's ideal for enjoying over the coming 10-12, if not 15 years or so. Best after 2022.

G de Guiraud Bordeaux Blanc 2022 91 JMQ (Regular Retail $18.99) Organic Direct Import

G de Chateau Guiraud is the property's dry white wine made from grapes harvested at full maturity. Aged for 7 months in oak barrels that produced the previous year's Grand Cru. This wine comes from 35 year old vines, grown on sandy gravel and clay gravels. Hand harvested in 6kg baskets.

Discover the rich expression of jasmine, ripe nectarine and grapefruit pith. The palate is crisp with note of lemon verbena, dried pineapple and tart apple. 

Larner Vineyards Transverse Santa Barbra Syrah 2018 93V (Regular Retail $19.99) Organic

Set among the rolling hills of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara California, Larner Vineyard & Winery is a family-owned and operated boutique estate with an extremely limited production of 900 cases per year. 

Wine Notes

Black cherry, scorched earth, tobacco, leather and spice bring out the darker side of Syrah. The 2018 is powerful and elegant at the same time, with plenty of forward fruit and tons of allure on full display.
