Chateau Vannieres Bandol Rose AOC 2022

Bandol is one of the oldest vineyards in France. The first vine was planted by the Romans 2,500 years ago. Chateau Vannieres is recognized among the most prestigious domains of Bandol. Gaston Boisseaux, from Beaune in Burgundy acquired this property in 1957 and
now, his son Eric, epicurean winemaker likes to play with concentration, finesse and elegance and these wines can aged for 30 years. Farming in the vineyard follows the purest tradition of the appellation.

Low yields and some old vines are behind the weight and concentration of this ripe wine. It has plenty of rich fruits, including red berries shot with citrus and kiwi. Weight comes from the Mourvèdre in the blend. Drink this fine wine from later in 2023.
