Château L'Eglise-Clinet is one of the benchmark estates of Pomerol, widely regarded alongside icons like Petrus for its depth and precision. The estate was elevated to elite status by the late Denis Durantou and is now led by his daughter, Noëmie Durantou, continuing a philosophy of meticulous vineyard work and low-intervention winemaking.
Situated on the famed clay and gravel plateau of Pomerol, the vineyard is planted predominantly to Merlot with a small portion of Cabernet Franc, producing wines known for their power, finesse, and exceptional aging potential. Despite its relatively small size, L’Eglise-Clinet consistently delivers some of the most profound and sought-after wines on the Right Bank.
