Dumenil Brut Rose Champgne 94pts 

Anther direct Import by Plume Ridge.  Made from 50% reserve wine, 7% of red wine from old vine Pinot Meunier (1956) with minimum 3 years aging in the cellar, Champagne Dumenil is produced from the best Premier Cru vineyards of Chigny-les-Roses. The small commune of Chigny-les-Roses sites on the slopes north of Montagne de Reims and just a few miles south of the Reims.

Wine Notes

Delightful fruitiness of rosé plus great harmony with lush roundness on the finish. The color is of a bright salmon pink hue with elegant small bubbles. Aromas of fresh strawberries and cherries. The palate offers elegance and structure of red fruit, pepper and freshness and a slight marzipan flavor.

Averaen Willamette Valley (Oregon) Chardonnay 2021 91pts 

The idea for Averæn began in 2013 when Baron, Noah, and Steve from Banshee Wines in Sonoma attended the International Pinot Noir Celebration (IPNC) in the Willamette Valley. While discussing the striking similarities between the cool, foggy climates of the Sonoma Coast and the various sub-appellations of the Willamette Valley, they recognized the potential for producing high-quality wines at a significantly lower cost than in Sonoma. Oregon reminded them of the Sonoma Coast 10-15 years prior—rich in quality but still reasonably priced—making it an ideal place to pursue their winemaking ambitions.

Wine Notes

Aromas of lemon curd, lavender and almond skin. Medium-bodied with a round texture and character. Bright on the palate with a subtle savory character and a flinty finish. -James Suckling

Alois Cample Campania (Italy) Aglianico 2019 90pts

The Alois family has a rich history in the Campania region, with roots in textile production before transitioning to viticulture. Their commitment to quality and tradition led them to focus on indigenous grape varieties, especially Aglianico.

Wine Notes

Enriched and relatively soft character considering the celebrated tannins and structure of this powerful variety. The wine opens to a darkly concentrated appearance and sweet tones of baked cherry, candied almond and even a hint of orange peel. There is candied violet or lilac as well. The mouthfeel is medium-rich, and there is pretty acidity on the close. -Wine Advocate

Bodegas Mustiquillo Mestizaje Tinto El Terrerazo DOP Spain 2021 92pts. 

Mustiguillo’s exceptional work earned them a spot on Wine & Spirits’ Top 100 Wineries of 2012, a well-deserved recognition. This achievement was years in the making, beginning in the late 1990s when founder Toni Sarrion embarked on a solo mission to revive the indigenous Bobal grape, transforming it from a rustic, overlooked variety into a contender for world-class wines. Wine Notes

A blend of 75% Bobal, 15% Garnacha, and 10% Syrah. A complex bouquet featuring ripe red and black fruits like cherries, blackberries, and plums. Subtle floral aromas of violet are complemented by spicy notes of clove, black pepper, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging.  Medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture. Flavors of ripe black fruits are layered with hints of cocoa, licorice, and a savory undertone of Mediterranean herbs. The oak is well-integrated, adding a touch of creaminess without overpowering the fruit.

Aperture Alexander Valley Cabernet 2021 96pts.

Winemaker Jesse Katz has garnered widespread recognition for his innovative approach and exceptional skill in crafting high-quality wines. He is the founder and winemaker at Aperture Cellars and Devil Proof Vineyards, and has received numerous accolades throughout his career. Katz was the youngest head winemaker in the U.S. and has been featured on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. His wines have consistently earned critical acclaim, with Devil Proof Malbec being hailed as one of the highest-rated wines of its kind in California. 

Wine Notes

It has vibrant, layered aromas of blueberry compote, lavender, aniseed, milk chocolate and nutmeg with undertones of cast iron and tobacco leaves. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled, pairing deep flavors with a weightless feel due to its bright acidity and velvety tannins. 

Villa des Anges Vin de France Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Villa Des Anges Domaine is owned by Jaqueline Menard de Ginestous, who is from a prominent Languedoc wine-growing family. Home to a Mediterranean climate, the vineyards grow in ancient alluvial and clay/limestone soils. Villa des Anges wines are crafted by winemaker Jeff Carrel at the Espitalet des Anges domaine in Capestang.

Wine Notes

Aromas of black cherries, with hints of red pepper and light, spicy cumin/coriander notes.
