Recognized in 1855 classification as one of the original 18 Fifth growths in Pauillac. Established by Pierre Urbain Pedesclaux in 1810, the property is now owned by Jacky Lorenzetti (Chateau Lilian Ladouys and Chateau d'Issan). The vineyards are situated between Chateau Lafite Rothchild and Chateau Mouton Rothchild. Some of the world's best wines are from Pauillac appellation.

In 2010, Architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte modernized the property to its current unique style. Including adding a state of the art winery that uses gravitational process entirely. To view more about the property, click here for a video

Fleur des Pedesclaux is the second wine of chateau Pedesclaux. It is meant to be drink earlier than the grand vin and comes from the more younger vines.

Wine Notes
Here is an opportunity to try wines from the same terrior as Lafite and Mouton Rothschild at a fraction of the cost. Pauillac's gravely terrior is world renowned. The 2015 Fleur des Pedesclaux has a rich bouquet of ripe plum, dried herbs and spices. On the palate the wine is soft, approachable with concentrated red and black fruit, silky tannins and intense finish. A fine wine from Pauillac. 13.5% Alc. Pair with steak and mushroom sauce, duck, risotto and mature cheeses.

74% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon 6% Petit Verdot
