Dry and elegant, this radiant sparkler opens with enticing aromas of hawthorn and summer orchard fruit. Showing its Valdobbiadene pedigree, the gently sparkling palate features Bartlett pear, peach and apple before a citrusy finish. Crisp acidity keeps it balanced and energized.

The three-acre Col Credas vineyard, with its heavy clay soils, produces a broader and slightly less acidic base wine than Vigneto Giardino, making it suitable for the extra brut style (with lower residual sugar). Subtle flavors of tart kiwi and crisp green apple are tinged with notes of thyme and lemon basil, the flavors balanced by a silky texture. This wine is built for the dinner table.
Carrying on the family tradition, Adriano Adami continued in his father’s footsteps, making a name for the winery’s quality Prosecco on the local market. The 1980s saw the arrival of the third generation, with the newly qualified oenologists Armando and Franco Adami, combining family traditions with specialization and technology. With a modern winemaking and sparkling wine production facility, the brand moved onto new markets and acquired a solid reputation.
Adami now produces about 750,000 bottles with grapes from 50 hectares (123.5 acres) of vineyards, 12 of their own land, the rest farmed by other small growers with time-honored links to the winery, and sharing its commitment to quality.
This bottling of 100% Glera comes from a single vineyard within Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore Rive di Farra di Soligo. The vineyard is located on a steep hillslope, south- and southeast-facing oriented along relief contours upon a combination of clay, dry, nutrient-poor soils, fairly shallow, bedded in calcareous rock. Once harvested the grapes see light pressing with bladder press and gravity settling of the must. The wine is then aged on fine lees in stainless steel for 3 months. For secondary fermentation, the wine undergoes Metodo Italiano in steel pressure tanks.
A wine of the “Rive” type and made using grapes from a single vineyard, Col Credas opens to a complex nose with impressive intensity and balance, and delicate fruit and floral notes, such as wisteria (a purple flowing vine) and acacia blossom, echoed and underpinned by elegance on the palate and a pronounced bone-dry finish.
