Domaine LEDUC-FROUIN was founded in 1873 and is now managed by Antoine Leduc, 4th generation Winemaker. Antoine was always destined to work in his 30 hectares family estate and he returned there in 1993 after doing his Oenology studies in Bourgogne and Bordeaux. Combining tradition and modernity, Antoine makes every effort to produce typical, local and subtle wines. The diversity of the soils (falun, shale, clay) allows him to perform single vineyard winemaking.
Handpicked, Certified Terra Vitis.
Aged for 6 to 12 months in barrels.
WINE NOTES
An excellent representation of Chenin Blanc. Aromas of stone fruit, apricot, quince and lemon tree blossoms with a hint of cinnamon. Ample but dry mouthfeel with refreshing mineral notes and crispy acidity on the finish. Perfect for fish in a lemon based sauce or white meat dishes.
