Chateau D'Angles "Classique" La Clape 2020 Sustainable

Former technical director (Eric Fabre) of Chateau Lafite Rothschild headed to the South of France to create Chateau d'Angles in the terrior of La Clape.  Each section of the 45 hectares on the estate is closely followed under the paternal eye of Eric Fabre, with a real respect for the environment. Round, fresh, charming, precise, complex, structured, delicate – are all qualities of the Château d’Anglès Great Wines that reflect the values held by Eric and Christine Fabre.

The terrior is hard limestone screes of the mountain of La Clape, complimented by the Mediterranean.  Sustainable practices HVE Level 3. 

Syrah 40%, Grenache 40%, Mourvèdre 20%.

A solid and compact red with notes of blackberries, dark plums, tar, leather, chocolate and hazelnuts. Medium- to- full-bodied with fine, firm tannins. Structured at this stage with volume and texture on the mid-palate. Excellent length in the finish. 

Wine Notes
Syrah for fruit and spices delicately vinified and blended with Grenache for roundness, a dash of Mourvèdre giving structure and the refreshing minty touch from the terroir of La Clape appellation. A tasty, smooth and balanced wine to enjoy without complexes. Sustainable.
