William Harrison Napa Valley Rutherford Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Classic "Rutherford Dust" from William Harrison's 2013 vintage, a robust year for Napa Valley. Only several hundred cases produced per year. This modest sized winery was founded by William (Bill) Harrison in 1993 after spending decades working in the wine industry from 1960s. His property is a unique location in Napa Valley in the Rutherford district nestled up against the eastern hills of the Valley along the Silverado Trail. The region encompasses the soils from three alluvial fans that are primarily gravel, sand and loam. The combination of rare soil results in wine with its own unique personality.
Handpicked in the early month hours, meticulous attention to detail in both the vineyard and cellar. Aged 22 months in French Oak.
Winemaker: Chuck McKahn (Chappellet, McManis Family and Tolosa Winery)

Robust and earthy with aromas of black cherry and toasted oak. Flavors of boysenberry, black currant, dried leather, bay leaf and spice with rich fruit tannins and long finish. A superb Napa Valley wine with aging potential. 14.5% Alc. Excellent with Beer Braised Brisket & Cabbage or Pan Seared Ribeye.
