It is rare to find a Syrah from California that can rival the style of Northern Rhone. After years of searching and tasting, we found Skylark's single vineyard Syrah that can deliver. Rodger's Creek is nestled in the hills above Petaluma in the Sonoma Coast Appellation. This block is planted to a Cote Rotie clone specifically selected for this site. Inspired by Cote Rotie and Hermitage of Northern Rhone, the founder of Skylark (John Lancaster, Wine Director at James Beard award winning Boulevard Restaurant) has produced something truly exciting for the wine connoisseur.
Aged 24 months in 40% new oak and then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Only 125 cases produced.

A perfect white wine for the summer outdoor parties and picnic. This dry (not sweet) Gewurztraminer is classically Alsatian, but made in California. Claiborne & Churchill is a small, family owned and operated winery, founded in 1983 and located in the heart of the Edna Valley, just outside San Luis Obispo. This their 35th consecutive vintage and only 950 cases produced. An interesting fact: The current winery is a "straw bale building", the first of it's kind in California. 16 inch think walls made of bales of rice straw, to keep the winery at a constant cellar temperature.

Former Spago Beverly Hills wine director Kevin O'Connor and wine salesman Matt Licklider started Lioco in 2005. The focus was to use European wines as inspiration and to source fruit from Santa Cruz, Sonoma and Mendocino. Their philosophy is to hunt relentlessly for the best vineyards, invest in holistic viticulture, pick early, harvest all fruit by hand, hand sorting and employ minimalist winemaking. You can find their wines at top restaurants in such as: The French Laundry, Bouchon, Gramercy Tavern, John Geroges, Chez Panisse, AOC, Republique and Bestia.
Rare ancient Greek variety that was once allegedly mentioned by Aristotle. As one of Greece's oldest grape variety, it has a similar spiciness as Merlot and Syrah. This grape is grown in the Protected Geographical Indication area of Avdira, a fishing village situated in the district of Xanthi in Thrace. Thrace, a blessed place, with an extensive history of grape growing, wine production, and wine trade, was mentioned even by Homer. This region is one of the smallest in Greece, that shares a border with Bulgaria.
In 1999, the family of Nikos and Flora Vourvoukeli planted 2 hectares of land on the fertile hills of the area with indigenous and foreign wine grape varieties, with a view to realizing their vision of reviving the famous Avdira vineyard (Thrace PGI). It gradually developed into a privately owned 12-hectare vineyard which is cultivated in accordance with the regulations for organic farming.
Elizabeth Spencer continues to product high quality wines with consistence and style. That's why we decided to introduce another wine from their portfolio. A Grenache that you can lightly chill and enjoy for the warm summer months. This is a Prioprietor Selected Special Cuvee from Elizabeth Spencer. A husband and wife team, Spencer Graham and Elizabeth Pressler have been making wine together since 1997. Elizabeth started working her way in the restaurant industry as a sommelier, pursued the wine industry career at Chalk Hill Winery, Eisele, and Hess just to name a few. Graham was born in Vienna, grew up in Brazil and also started as a sommelier in a restaurant. Both had the first date at the famous French Laundry restaurant in Napa and decided to make Napa their home.
Elizabeth Spencer aspires to make wines that are delicious to drink, elegant, refined and balance. This wine is a their nod to Rhone Valley. The winemaker was able to capture the freshness, juicy snap and stony vigor of Grenache by aging in 7 months of neutral oak and stainless steel to capture the freshness and brightness of the fruit.

Chateau Lagrange is a Third Growth property located in St. Julien appellation of Bordeaux. It is one of the largest single estates in the Medoc currently over 118 uninterrupted hectares. Typical vines are about 30 years of age. In 1983 Suntory Group purchased the property and has since renovated and modernized the winery. Great care has been taken to the vineyards (yield control, harvest by hand) and vinification plot by plot give birth each year to a rich and elegant wine with long aging potential. Les Fief's is Lagrange's younger, more approachable wine to be enjoyed in its youth. The wine is aged for 12 months in 20% new French oak.
