Manoir du Capucin 'Sensation' Pouilly Fuisse Chardonnay 2018
Former residence (dating from the 17th century) of the Capuchin LUILLIER, author of the “Mâconnais Christmases”. The Manor with Tuscan columns bears witness to this era.
It was Antoine FOREST , the great grandfather of Chloé BAYON, who acquired the property in 1921, then the vines were no longer operated by the family for 2 generations.
Chloé grew up in Nice, studied viticulture and oenology and decided to take over this estate where reigns the soul of her ancestors and their passion for wine.
The estate has 9.6 ha of Pouilly Fuissé, 2 ha of Mâcon Solutré-pouilly, 0.30 ha of Mâcon villages and 0.80 ha of Saint Véran.
Intense notes of white peaches, meyer lemon and Acacia. Balanced and rounded texture with spice that persists through the palate with a notable mineral core.
