Fiore Rosa Pavia Pinot Grigio Rosé 2019
Pink wine from white grapes? Produced from grapes grown in the Pavia region of Northern Italy, these grapes were selected at optimal ripeness from mature hillsides. Harvested in early September, the Pinot Grigio grape from Pavia is ideal for making Rosé. The extra hang time allows for ripeness to develop as well as the color from Pinot Grigio to give it a pink hue with a hint of Pinot Noir. The skins were left in contact with the juice for 12 hours at low temperature before gentle pressing. After a low, cool fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks the wine was bottled young to preserve freshness and aromas
Pale coral pink, this is a dry, fresh and fruity rose with delicate aromas of red berries. Soft and creamy textured - with good intensity of ripe berry and red cherry fruit, and a vibrant finish. Try it with grilled seafood, light chicken dishes or your favorite cheese plate.
