Etienne Chere Brut Rosé Champagne
Grower Champagne from the small village of Courjeonnet, Cote des Blancs. The Domaine was founded by Etienne, and now his two sons are involved with the winemaking. With only 7 ha, all harvested under "culture raisonnée" methods. This estate is located in the South of the Côte des Blancs. The vineyard is mainly spread in the village Courjeonnet, just by a small river called Le Petit Morin. The vines are facing south, where the 3 varieties are grown. Only 3000 cases produced. Each vintage is unique and blended to create the best of the terrior and vintage (no addition of reserve wines). The vinification takes place in small vats of 20hl.
40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Pinot Meunier
Pale medium ruby color, a bit darker than your regular Rosé color. The nose has very nice strawberry, raspberry and a hint of rose petal. The palate offers very delicate berry, spice and a creamy mousse. Long finish with great lingering complexity. 12% Alc. Content. Serve as an aperitif with Seafood Bisque, Strawberry Crepe, and Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
