Duck Pond Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2019
Grown, harvested, and bottled in the heart of the most prominent appellation in Oregon, the Willamette Valley, our Duck Pond wines embody and reflect a true commitment to farming sustainably and organically for 27 years. After moving from California’s Central Valley, longtime farmers and wine enthusiasts, Doug & Jo Ann Fries purchased land along the Willamette River in Dundee where they planted a hazelnut orchard as well as a 13-acre vineyard.
With lively blue and black fruits on the nose, flavors of Bing cherry, black raspberry, spice, and just a touch of oak on the palate. This finish is long with depth and richness . Enjoy this Pinot Noir with heartier fare throughout the course of the week, pairing with grilled meats and Portobello mushrooms –or pan seared polenta. 13.5% Alc.
