Domaine Skouras was established in 1986 by George Skouras upon returning home from his winemaking studies abroad. Training in Dijon, George felt he could bring modern winemaking to his home region of Nemea and quickly established himself as one of Greece's top winemakers. Using indigenous yeasts, the Assyrtiko is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks. It spends six months aging sur lie before bottling. Under George's capable hands, he is making one of the most exciting mainland versions of this increasingly popular grape.

WINE NOTES

Crystal clear color with green highlights. The nose is generous with aromas of citrus, apples, mineral and saline notes. Excellent structure, crisp acidity, salinity and minerality. Long and complex finish. 13.5% Alc.
