Chateau du Tertre Margaux 2007

Chateau du Tertre Margaux 2007

  • 3699

A Margaux estate for this value is truly hard to find. Situated on the "tertre", French for rising mound or land, Du Tertre is one of the oldest properties on the Left Bank of Bordeaux. This elevated outcropping of the Medoc gives excellent vineyard plot position for light, rain and a natural drainage. Aged in 100% French oak barrels (45% new). The property is owned by Eric Albada Jelgersma and Denis Dubourdieu as consulting oenologist.

"Fragrant, leafy cassis. Fresh and lively on the palate. Energy and just the right amount of flesh for the structure. Spice on the mid palate. Overall quite light and leafy but not green." Jancis Robinson. 13% Alc.
