Chateau Jean Faux Bordeaux White 2016
A Bordeaux White so complex and elegant that you can't put down. This wine rivals other famous Bordeaux White wine producers such as Smith-Haut Lafitte and Domaine de Chevalier, except at a fraction of the price. Organically farmed, hand harvested and crafted by a former wine barrel cooper. Pascal Collotte knows a thing or two about "hand craft" and attention to detail. That's why it took him years to find the perfect property in 2002 at Chateau Jean Faux. Pascal does everything right at his property, from organic farming, green harvest and manual harvest in crates. Vinified in cement and stainless steel, followed by fermentation and aging on lees in French oak (10-15% new) for 6 to 9 months.
