Chateau Les Ormes de Pez St. Estephe 2019 (Regular Retail $29.99) 94 pts JD

One of the best and well respected Chateau with in the Saint-Estephe appellation. The property has been in the hands of the Cazes family since the late 19th Century and they also own Chateau Lynch Bages. 

Wine Notes

Château Les Ormes de Pez is a harmonious, spicy and distinctive wine that reveals the authenticity of its terroir in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. It will charm you with its opulence, elegance and well-rounded structure. The palate offers robust tannins whilst retaining a smooth, fleshy side.

Brick and Mortar Anderson Valley Pinot Noir 2022 (Regular $19.99)

Cool climate 100% Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley. The wine is a rich ruby color with purple core, and refreshing brightness. Matt and Alexis Iaconis founded Brick & Mortar in 2011 and co-run the winery. Their focus is deeply rooted in California, but driven by French traditions.

Wine Notes

Bright blackberry and plum flavors combine with cherry blossom and fresh cedar, highlighted by juniper and bay laurel; unique markers for Pinot Noir from this region. The wine is a rich ruby color with purple core, and refreshing brightness.

Antonelli Rosso Montefalco 2020  90pts V (Regular Retail $19.99) 

Antonelli has been farming organically since 2012 and has achieved the European Organic certification. The estate has been in the same family since 1881 and they manage 430 acres in a single estate set in the heart of Montefalco. Here, Sangiovese and Sagrantino thrive on the rolling hilltops. 

Wine Notes

Ruby red in color. Olfactory impact intense and fruity, with hints of cherry and wild berries. To the palate it is dry, balanced and well structured. The freshness provided by the Sangiovese gives it an excellent drinkability

Jorn Nou Terra Alta Garnacha 2020 (Regular $19.99)

Bodegas Jorn Nou, nestled in Catalonia's Terra Alta D. O., produces distinguished wines rooted in a thousand years of Mediterranean tradition. This special Garnacha Tinta Peluda is a mutation of Garcnacha that has adapted itself to be resistant to drought and less sensitive to pets. Native of Catalonia.

Wine Notes
Dense red wine with purplish hue, bright and fluid in the glass. Aromas of raspberries, blackberries and forest fruits, with notes of liquorice and spices. Pleasantly meaty, fresh and slighly tannic with aromas of red fruit preserves.

Pied a Terre Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 (Regular $34.99)

Utilizing three of the best vineyards in Sonoma, Pied à Terre produces wines that are not manipulated, wines of restraint, and wines with soul. Authentic Wines… wines that express the land that they were grown on. Owner Richard Luftig was the former Wine Director at Felidia Ristorante (Wine Spectator's Grand Award) and other famous New York institutions. 

Wine Notes

The berries were small and compact, with incredible concentration of aromas and flavors: blueberry, red cherry, mint and pencil shavings with an elegant, focused mouthfeel and mature tannins. A perfect complement to hearty meat dishes.

Alois Caulino Campagnia IGT Falanghina 2022 Sustainable  90pts V (Regular $19.99)

The bottling of sustainably-farmed Falanghina was sourced from volcanic soils of the Alois Estate vineyards, within the Campania IGT. Once ripened, the grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel to preserve this freshness. The fermentation process takes place on the lees for 30 days followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

Wine Notes

This Falanghina has a beautiful, delicate, and floral component on the nose while full and refreshing on the palate. It has slight fruity and tropical notes with mouthwatering acidity
